Navigating the Academic and Research Landscape as an Autistic Physicist

Wed, 20 Nov 2024
12:30 - 13:30

In this talk, we will hear from experimental quantum physicist turned science communicator,  Daisy Shearer as they explore their experiences in a laboratory setting and beyond. Daisy will cover their contribution to the book 'Uncharted: How Scientists Navigate Their Own Health, Research, and Experiences of Bias' and the broader experiences of autistics in academic and research settings.

There is an opportunity for chat and networking after the talk, if you'd like to.  Feel free to bring along a neurotypical friend or manager (just make sure they have their own ticket so we know the numbers and get the names to the reception desk for faster check-in).
